We’re Hiring! Internet Marketing Account / Project Manager In Brisbane

Well, I’m back from Southern Africa and back into the swing of things.
Marketing-Results.com.au continues to grow in leaps and bounds and we’re hiring again – this time for an Internet Marketing Account / Project Manager in Brisbane.
If you, or someone you know might be interested, check out the position description on SEEK.
(If you’re thinking of applying, here’s a hint: actually respond to the requirements in the ad. It amazes me how (literally) 90% of the applicants don’t address the ad at all and go straight into the trash).

Good you’re back. Hope you had a great time in Southern Africa. Been reading your previous posts while you were away and they’re great posts. It can really make someone think. Looking forward to your future posts.

Hi Will
Great to hear your business is booming.
Doesn’t surprise me that so few people actually read the requirements. My wife is in HR. The other day she was telling me about job applicants who took calls on their mobiles in the middle of an interview! Apparently it happens quite often.
BTW Perry Marshall has devised a great strategy for getting a job by sending a sales letter about yourself to a targeted list of companies you want to work for. It’s a freebie if you sign up for his Renaissance Club: http://www.perrymarshall.com/adwords/renaissance/

Hey Charles – I have it down on my list to write a post on “How To Get Any Job Interview”. It’s really not that hard because the competition (i.e. most other job applicants) are half asleep.
I’ve read Perry’s report you mentioned and it’s good, solid stuff.
Cheers Will

It is so true that one must know what he’s applying for and if his capabilities suits with what the job is looking for. So be aware, before you will end up into the trash.

In an interview that I held back in the days when I had the dreaded JOB. A young man walked into my office smoking, when I pointed this out to him that it wasn’t going to help him in this particular career. He looked at me and said it was my loss.
Later on I thought to myself did I just turn away the man that would have changed my company. His customer service would have been second to none I’m sure.
I often wonder what happened to him.

Welcome back, Will! I hope your trip to South Africa was good.
It’s not surprising to see that there are so many people that disregard those types on instructions. Here’s to hoping that this round is more successful than the last.
Cheers!
