Google Analytics is just one of the ways Google gathers tons and tons of information about everything and everybody. I stopped using almost all there services including GA. And they are far from perfect actually.

It is rather confusing to find the aversion of many website owners in using Google Analytics. I mean, when they have such a wonderful tool available at their disposal, why wouldnt they like to use it for the long term benefits. It can show them the trends and insights, elements so very significant for survival of a business. Though, now trend is definitely changing.

81%…!? Sheeesh. I was introduced to Google Analytics quite a while ago now, but even back then as someone who wasn’t very tech-savvy at the time; I did find it quite easy to set up.

Nice mind map. I think there really is no excuse not to use analytics of some kind, especially where business is concerned. I’ve used a number of service like StatCounter and W3 Counter, but what Google Analytics offers for a FREE service is astounding; and it’s so easy to set up to.

81% don’t have analytics! That is insane. I can’t imagine not having access to my Analytics so I can check it almost every waking minute. I personally would support a “limit” on the use of Google Analytics, cause I waste some serious time on there

I’m always checking my AWStats, Analytics and, on some of my sites, Crazy Egg. I find Crazy Egg gives me some of the best information of how visitors are interacting with my sites. Combining this with Analytics you’ll have all the data you’ll need!

I just recently started using analytics and although there are still some parts that I don’t understand, I’m quite content with the result of each day’s progress on my blog. I’m able to identify keywords that bring traffic to my blog and if there was an increase in traffic.

Google analytics is a great tool for webmaster and SEO experts. Though sad to say that many are still not aware of it or are not using it. Aside from the analytics Google’s webmaster tool is also a must for any webmaster out there.
