You don’t need to know much about SEO to realize links are the golden road to blog promotion. But how do we go about getting them? Which link building methods produce the best results?

It's quite interesting that the number of people reading this blog post are likely to be SEO's yet they are not using anchor text as their name. Isn't that the whole purpose of this? I'm fairly new to this so I might be talking rubbish, if so sorry for that!

A useful post that I will refer some of our clients to when they look for help with boosting their website rankings. It's actually how I found this blog, but now I'm here I can see there's some really interesting content, so I hope to stick around for a bit and enjoy the debate. :)

The best method to rise your pagerank is blog commenting.

Coming to think of it, the fact that they have a complex website designed for them means that their website is possibly going to be the lifeline of their sales numbers. With this fact being given, you will find such webmasters going for bandwidth as an important consideration...

Great artical, it pretty much sums it all up.
I am new to all of this and a few weeks ago I had gone mad posting comments at any blog I could find and then I heard that it was all useless when I learnt about the Nofollow and Dofollow.

@Dave -- I don't think there is a boost from search engine as such, but there is an increase in conversation and a small "reward" in terms of link juice to contributors.
