1Shopping Cart Affiliate Bug Resolved

April 2, 2007 on 11:14 am | In Internet Marketing |

I’m pleased to report that the affiliate bug we were experiencing with 1ShoppingCart has been resolved. It seems that the squeaky wheel gets the grease…

Unfortunately, we wasted around 20 hours of time coding an alternative solution, as 1SC were unable to give us a timetable on the fix (the eventual fix took a few minutes, apparently).

But hey - I can’t complain. We have been using and recommending MarketersChoice.com (an OEM version of 1SC) for some time now and I dreaded the prospect of switching all our clients to other solutions.

So it’s fixed! Everyone’s kicked a goal! In future though, I would like to see more proactive support from 1SC to solve glitches like this in the first place.

    Hi Will,

Great to hear that it’s been resolved. It’s not much fun having to kick up a stink but sometimes you gotta make a lot of noise if you want to get heard.

Good luck with the promotions, here’s hoping nothing else screw up!

    Cheers,
    Joe

You’re not wrong, Joe. Yes, I was happy with the quick resolution. If they had told us on Friday that they would have a fix by Monday, there wouldn’t have been any need for all that rigmarole! Cheers Will

Hi Franck - yes, it’s a load off my mind too and affiliates are now making commissions and seem to be happy with how everything is going, so that’s good!
