New Blog Design Launched…Finally

It’s been a loooooong time coming, but I’ve finally launched the new Marketing Results blog design - a big thanks to my designer Phil! There’s some new functionality in place as well, including:

  • Featured article links (hard coded)
  • Newsletter signup
  • More intuitive commenting
  • Related posts
  • Social bookmarketing
  • Recent comments
  • Add-to-RSS buttons
  • Internal tags

Any comments on how the design could be further improved? I’d love to hear them.

    Looks very good Will but is it really intended that your Home and Blog menu items should take you to the same place?

    If you upgrade to Wordpress 2.1, which is now out, you will find it enables you to easily (with a single option) have a separate home (landing) page and a blog page. This makes it really easy to build a full blown site with blog included.

    Hi Graham - thanks for picking that up. No, that wasn’t intentional. I think it’s a change that slipped in with the new design - still ironing out a few bugs as you can see… :-O
