Hey Kimberly - welcome and thanks for your comment.

Yes, although blogging can be an awesome tool, it's about execution, and the fact is, many people just don't write that well (or enjoy writing for that matter).

There are business blogging services around that will actually do the writing for you, but I'm not sure how successful these are. Blogging is all about "finding your voice" so outsourcing it may defeat the purpose.

I particularly think blogging is useful for "knowledge intensive" businesses. It's a great way to build thought leadership.

Thanks for stopping by!

I agree totally. Although I would mention that some business owners need to be made aware of the fact that this is still a branding activity. Just last night I received a business card mentioning his blog. The blog was half done, thin content, and writing, while I can overlook some typos, of which I am guilty myself, was typo-ridden.

That said I totally agree with you,I think it is great to provide information and market yourself. I would also stress "call to actions". Make people know the connecion between your blog and your services.
